This is the first of a series of special weekend workshops with advanced material included in the price.  Join us in a limited-size group to learn the techniques to style material grown with attention and care to be good bonsai. The knowledge and skills learned here is directly applicable to more advanced collected junipers in the future.

If you're to uncertain about your bonsai skills to spend big money on an ancient collected juniper, start working on these wonderful Juniper procumbens specimens.

This is a full weekend workshop. We'll start Saturday morning by covering the horticultural and aesthetic concepts needed to successfully start these trees on their bonsai lives. We'll share options for each tree, then set you working on them. Sunday will be devoted to completing the first stage of work on the trees. In most cases these trees will be ready for a bonsai pot in late spring.
